Who we are
Glenair was founded in 1956 in Glendale, California, USA. As the company grew successfully, it opened sales, development, and production facilities around the world, including in England, Italy, Germany, France, and Sweden, among other locations.
Glenair GmbH, established in 1983 and headquartered in Bad Homburg, expanded its core business in 2017—in addition to its largest sales region in the EU—to include the development and production of mechanisms and cable assemblies for the aerospace industry at its Salem facility on Lake Constance. As one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect technology, the Glenair team successfully collaborates closely with nearly all leading companies in the aerospace, defense, rail, marine, and offshore sectors.
